Winemaking: Grapes from old vineyards (over 80 years old). Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. The single vineyard - Finca Marimu.
Tasting notes: Bright garnet colour with purplish rim. Aromas of blackberry fruit, plums, and blackcurrant, as well as black spice, coffee bean and ink. The palate displays powerful, and well balance, with ripe fruit flavours, present tannins, and exceptional acidity for a long ageing. On the aftertaste, the wine is rich and long, perfect for food pairing or without.
Pairing: Italian prosciutto ham, salami, jamon and bresaola are matched with the lightest red and pink wines that emphasize the refined taste of cured meat.
