Winemaking: Pineau des Charentes is a fortified dessert wine from the Cognac region produced by blending fresh juice from ripe grapes with high-proof alcohol, followed by aging using the solera method. Aged in oak barrels for over 12 years.

Tasting note: Madeira, vermouth, walnut, almond. Ideal as an aperitif. Recommended to serve with foie gras or cheeses (Comté, Roquefort).

Serve chilled at 7-12°.
