Harvest: Hand harvested grapes with sorting. After the grapes are destemmed, the berries undergo maceration.

Winemaking: Pineau des Charentes is a fortified dessert wine from the Cognac region produced by blending fresh juice from ripe grapes with high-proof alcohol, followed by aging using the solera method. Aged on the lees for 2 years, then aged in demi-muids (600 L) barrels without lees for up to 5 years.

Tasting note: Blackcurrant, black berries. Ideal as an aperitif (chilled or with an ice cube). Pairs well with melon.

Serve chilled at 7-12°.
