Winemaking: Pineau des Charentes is a fortified dessert wine from the Cognac region produced by blending fresh juice from ripe grapes with high-proof alcohol, followed by aging using the solera method. It is aged on the lees for 2 years, then aged in oak barrels for up to 5 years.

Tasting note: Peach, honey, nougat. Ideal as an aperitif, served chilled or with an ice cube; pairs well with foie gras and light desserts.

Serve chilled at 7-12°.
